It's the sixth year for the 98.1 the Hawk's "Country Cares for Kids" Radiothon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and for the sixth straight year, I'll become a Partner in Hope. Are you wondering what that means?

Partner In Hope With St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

It's simple, for only $19 a month, you can make a difference in kids and their families lives. You can help a kid with cancer to get chemotherapy or help provide a blood transfusion for a child.

They do so much for the children but they don't forget their families and the effect it has on them. No family EVER gets a bill for their care, St Jude believes that the only thing the family should worry about is helping their child during their difficult time.

St. Jude does everything they can do to bring normalcy to everyone involved. If the child can't make it to their prom or graduation, St. Jude does what it takes to put it on at the hospital.

No More Chemo Song

One of my favorite parts is when a child is completely done with their chemotherapy. The outstanding staff at St. Jude throws a party and everyone sing's the "No More Chemo" song.

We hope that you'll have a chance to tune into 98.1 the Hawk for these two days (February 9th and 10th) as we share the inspiring stores of hope. I hope that you will join me and become a Partner in Hope for only $19 a month too.

You'll be helping kids that need our help and get an awesome "This Shirt Saves Lives" T-shirt. Together with St. Jude, we won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Join the movement now by calling 1-800-372-4299  by or by donating online: www.stjude.org/radio/whwk
