After My Christmas special aired, many of you asked to see the video of Homer Brink Elementary School's Chorus of K-2 grades singing the songs they sent to Sandy Hook. Not only does this showcase the importance of music curriculum in our schools, but it also shows that our community cares for people near and far. The lesson this chorus teacher taught this day was way more powerful than just some notes to be sang in tune. It taught these children to love and cherish every single person. We need those lessons in life. To prevent this tragedy from happening again. Children, firefighters and mothers and fathers need not be lost to the insidious minds of mad men. I think a lesson of love early in life will help to make a needed impression. - Rich
