Another food recall involving two popular snack food brands that are readily available in grocery stores, drug stores and convenience stores in the Southern Tier and across the United States .

In what has been described as a "massive recall," Hostess snacks is recalling over 710,000 cases of Ding Dongs, Zingers, Chocodiles and snack cake and doughnuts.  According to ABC News, the company is voluntarily making the recall due to peanut residue found in its products.  Consumers with allergic reaction to peanuts are urged to return the products to where they were purchased.   For a complete list of items being recalled with UPC codes, click HERE.

Pretzel lovers with peanut allergies, should double check out certain Rold Gold purchases According to NBC New York, Frito-Lay is recalling the following: Rold Gold Tiny Twists-1 oz., 2 oz., 16 oz., and 20 1/2 oz., Rold Gold Thins in 4 oz. and 16 oz., Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided in 10 ounce and bags of Rold Gold Sticks 16 ounce size.
