Registration Taken For Event to Protect Seniors From Scams

The Broome County Office for Aging is taking registration for seniors and caregivers to learn more about preventing scams against older residents and financial exploitation.

A presentation is planned October 24^th at 8:30 a.m. at the Visions Federal Credit Union on Country Club Road in Endwell.

Area professionals will be talking about protections for seniors and their caregivers.  There will be information on local agencies that work to prevent elder abuse and financial exploitation, current scams, personal finances, Power of Attorney and the 211 and NY Connects services.
