The Inside Scoop:

Quentin has gotten a fast start in music. Although he sang as a kid, a gift received in college sparked a brighter passion and bigger goals. Now, Quentin enters Hitmaker to get his music out to more people:

Sophomore into Junior year in college, I got a guitar as a gift and that kinda kicked it into gear from there. Last year, I won Twin Tiers Idol in Big Flats. I auditioned to American Idol – was told I was 'too country.' The last four years, I’ve really taken it seriously. I’ve got to open for some bigger acts: Billy Dean, Ty Herndon and Anita Cochran. I released a single ‘I’m an American’ in September

To the country music skeptic:

I’d sit them down with a Keith Whitley record, a George Strait record, and a Garth Brooks record. Country music is real stories and real people.

To potential voters:

It’d mean a whole lot to me. It’s something that can help your career. I’d love to make a living doing this, but just to play music and make a connection with people is great. I’ve been chasing this pretty strong the past two years.
