Last week I mentioned on the air about Starbucks coming out with a pine flavored coffee. As I've said many times before, my favorite kind of coffee is coffee flavored coffee. I'm not a big fan of flavored coffee.

When it comes to beer I feel the same way. I've had Pine flavored beer which personally I found to be pretty disgusting. You might as well go out and lick a Christmas tree if that's the flavor you are looking for.

Now drinking pine flavored stuff is bad enough, but today I found a story on WABC TV where preschoolers in Hawaii were accidentally served Pine-sol instead of apple juice. (keep scrolling for more)

According to WABC, the incident happened at Kilohana Methodist Church Preschool. Three young girls, ages four and five, drank some of the Pine-sol. All three were treated and showed no signs of sickness.

As a result of this incident, the preschool staff will undergo additional training according to WABC.

I don't understand how someone can pour that in a glass and not smell the overpowering scent of Pine-Sol. The report does not say who poured the drink so maybe it was the young girls that poured themselves a drink and didn't know any better. Either way, the Pine-Sol should not have been where the kids could reach it.

Thank God they are all alright.
