All of Pennsylvania’s counties are now under stay-at-home orders.

Governor Tom Wolf expanded the order to 33 counties over the weekend but made the directive state-wide at 8 p.m. April 1 in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19 across the commonwealth. March 23, only seven counties in Pennsylvania were directed to keep residents at home except for essential travel for doctor appointments or to get supplies like groceries.

Secretary of health, Doctor Rachel Levine says: “Staying at home doesn’t mean making a daily stop at the grocery store because you need to get out of the house.  Staying at home means you must stay at home.”

Homeless individuals in Pennsylvania are not subject to the order but are strongly urged to find shelter and government agencies are urged to take steps to provide shelter.
