The numbers of positive COVID-19 cases Pennsylvania is over 4,000 according to a briefing by the State Department of Health.  That is an addition of 693 from the report on March 29.

According to a report in the Towanda Daily Review, an inmate and medical provider at the Bradford County Jail have tested positive for the coronavirus.  According to the report, the inmate was placed in medical isolation but showed no symptoms after being tested last week.

The medical provider is reported to be a contract worker and had contact with several inmates last week but showed no signs of symptoms.

The Daily Review reports Susquehanna County has one confirmed case of the coronavirus.

In the Southern Tier of New York, Broome County reported five additions March 31, bringing the total to 37, Tioga County’s numbers have doubled from four to eight.  There are 14 cases in Delaware County, 21 in Chenango County.  

Broome County’s first reported case in a senior living facility is at the Susquehanna Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center on Riverside Drive in Johnson City.  Officials have not said if the person is a resident.
