Paralyzed Three-Year-Old’s Simple Wish is Granted

Three-year-old Kellan Tilton was born with a malignant tumor in his spine and abdomen and surgery to remove the growth left him paralyzed from the waist down.

Kellan was hooked up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and instead of asking to meet someone famous or traveling somewhere exciting, Kellan's wish was to have a pathway from his house to his family’s barn.

Kellan and his siblings like to play in the barn, but he could only get there when someone was able to carry him.

That all changed when the Make-A-Wish Foundation constructed a smooth trail – including a bridge – that extends from his back yard to the barn.

Now, Kellan shoots up and down that path all the time. It’s the first thing he wants to do when he wakes up and last thing he wants to do before he goes to bed.
