October is Adopt a Shelter Pet Month, and the Broome County Humane Society is celebrating with us at the Parlor City Oktoberfest!

I love my pup Meadow, and I know our listeners love and adore their pets as well. Unfortunately, some dogs and pets wind up in shelters across the country searching for their new forever home. It may not be possible for us to adopt every single dog, but there are ways we can help our furry friends

The Broome County Humane Society will be onsite at the Parlor City Oktoberfest October 14th at Mountain Top Grove accepting donations for their cause. The BCHS will also bring out some of their most adorable pets to have fun alongside attendees and possibly find their forever home.

Oktoberfest attendees can help the Broome County Humane Society with monetary donations at Oktoberfest or bring one of the following items off their wish list to the Parlor City Oktoberfest:

The Parlor City Oktoberfest happens October 14th at Mountain Top Grove on Hance Road in Vestal. It will feature tons of live music and an exclusive, traditional German food menu that will only be available at this event. Strange Brew will be onsite providing delicious German desserts as well.
