Northeast Council of Carpenters Pickets in Downtown Binghamton

JRC Contracting, the firm hired to renovate the Security Mutual Life building in Downtown Binghamton, is under a scrutiny for their pay and benefits plans. They are below our area standards and the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters is picketing in front of the building to gain an increase for the contractors of JRC.

The picketing crowd is being very respectful to employees of all businesses inside the city by clearing the sidewalk of their protest every time someone needs to walk past the area. It is unclear how long they plan on protesting at the renovation site.
