This is one of those instances where real life ends up mimicking television in the most gruesome of ways.

Anyone who's watched the show 'Dexter' knows that it's about a serial killer who has a thirst to kill and quenches that thirst by murdering other murderers. Dexter stalks his victims, studying their habits to find the best way to get them alone to kill them.

Miranda Barbour isn't an actress. She's not a fictional character. Miranda Barbour is a real life person who hunted down her victims by stalking them, studying their habits and then ambushing them.

19 year old Miranda admits to not only killing a man who hired her for sex through an add on Craigslist, but says she’s killed dozens more. In the words of Miranda: "When I hit 22, I stopped counting. I can pinpoint on a map where you can find them. I remember everything. It’s like watching a movie.” Miranda says she’s got no remorse, but does wish she would be released from jail saying: "If I were to be released, I would do this again."

Disgusting. Disturbing. Horrific. And those are the nice words I can think of.

Miranda says she’s been killing both men and women since she was 13-years-old, but attempted to justify the killings by saying: "I did this to persons who did bad factors and did not deserve to be listed here anymore."

Miranda has a one year old child and that child's father is dead. Police are investigating his death. They also believe that Miranda had encounters with at least 30 men through Craigslist and are trying to find those men.

Miranda and her husband, 22-year-old Elytte Barbour are accused of luring a man through an ad on Craigslist and then strangling him to death on November 11, 2013. Police were able to track Miranda because the last number dialed on the man’s cell phone belonged to her.

Authorities also say they're looking closely at Miranda's claim that she was involved in satanism. In a jail interview on Friday, Miranda claimed the murders coincided with her joining a satanic cult based in Alaska at the age of 13.
