Man Builds ‘Dog Train’ to Bring Happiness to Rescues [WATCH]

They say that a dog is a man's best friend, but in this case, in this case it's Eugene Bostick who is dog's best friend.

For the past 15 years, 80-year-old Eugene Bostick of Fort Worth, Texas, has spent his retirement days taking in abandoned dogs.

“We started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live,” Eugene told Dodo.

In addition to giving the abandoned dogs both shelter and food, Eugene takes the pups on train rides in a train he built especially for them. What Eugene did was to take plastic barrels, cut holes in them, put wheels under them and tie them together to make his doggie train.

Eugene told NBCDFW, "Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited.”

Eugene pulls his "dog train" with a tractor, sometimes even through town, a couple times each week and says the dogs love going for a ride and that it brings joy to him to be able to do something happy for the animals.
