A Tioga County woman is facing felony charges for allegedly intentionally setting a vehicle on fire.

Sheriff's officials say 39-year-old Samantha McKibbin of Lockwood was arrested following an investigation into the December 7th incident on Coy Hill Road in the Town of Spencer.

Tioga County Sheriff's investigators say McKibbin is accused of intentionally setting a vehicle on fire which then caused damage to a nearby home.

In addition to felony arson and felony criminal mischief, McKibbin is charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief.

She was released on her own recognizance following her arraignment.

A news release from the Tioga County Sheriff's office did not indicate if there were any injuries resulting from the fire or the extent of damage to the vehicle and home.
