High school and middle school students can compete individually or as teams.

The Challenge was created as Congress recognized Science, Technology, Engineering and Math skills, including computer-based skills as key to economic growth with the United States falling behind in the expected number of needed programmers in less than a year.

Students should register online by September 15th before submitting the completed application by November 1.

The winners may have their apps featured in the U.S. Capitol and on the CAC website.

For more information, call Congressman Brindisi’s Binghamton office at (607) 242-0200 or online at  https://brindisi.house.gov/services/app-challenge.
