LAGO Wins the Casino Bid and I’m Livid [WATCH]

The thoughts expressed here are mine and my opinion goes as follows... LAGO IS NOT IN THE SOUTHERN TIER!

All we have heard about for months was "Which Southern Tier casino will get the bid expand their gaming?" Blah blah blah. Nope!

A town named Tyre gets it. Have you heard of it ever being mentioned in conversation as part of the Southern Tier? No, you haven't because it's in Rochester! That's two hours and forty minutes from our studios, up I-90. That's right, Interstate 90. I'm so mad.

Do yourself and our area a favor, if you're going to gamble, get married, play golf or bet on some horses, keep it local.

The only way we will ever be important enough to be considered for positive change is if WE the people of the SOUTHERN TIER, Not the 'Finger Lakes Southern Tier', make our own way.
