Village Police were called to check the welfare of a person on Main Street near the Endicott Johnson Worker's Arch and found the victim had been involved in a dispute with 51-year-old Robert Greene earlier and some property had been taken following a struggle.

Police say the victim sustained minor stab wounds from what they described as “a bladed object.”

Authorities say they were able to recover evidence from the scene and identify Greene as a suspect.

He was arrested that evening without incident, arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail.
