Card died at this home Monday. According to an obituary provided by his family, Card is survived by his wife, Dorothy. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary next month.

When Card retired from the business in 2007, the Phil's Chicken House tradition was continued by his son Kevin.

After his death, Card's family set up a few tractors around the West Corners restaurant in his memory.
