Traffic Stop In Dickinson Turns Up Fentanyl, Cocaine, Cash

According to a release from the New York State Police Troop C in Sidney, three people were recently arrested following a traffic stop in the County of Broome on July 13, 2026.

Traffic Stop Discovery

On that date, just before 1 p.m., New York State Troopers observed a 2025 Nissan Sentra commit Vehicle and Traffic Law violations while on patrol in the Village of Johnson City.

The Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Prospect Street in the Town of Dickinson, and identified 51-year-old Gregory Jackson of Brooklyn, New York as the operator of the vehicle, along with two passengers, 60-year-old Sircurtis King and 38-year-old Jhenna Wood, both residents of Binghamton.

Troopers, along with the assistance of a New York State Police K9 during the investigation, located around 1.96 ounces of cocaine base, approximately 1.90 ounces of fentanyl, a digital scale, packaging materials, and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Charges Levied

All three persons were charged with the following:

Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree (Narcotic Drug), a class “B” felony
Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree (Intent to Sell), a class “B” felony
Two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia (Scale and Packaging), a misdemeanor

According to a report from New York State Police Troop C, Jackson, King, and Wood were transported to State Police headquarters in Endwell, New York, for processing.

Sircurtis King complained of a medical issue while in custody. He was transported by ambulance to Wilson Medical Center, where he was medically evaluated and later released.

All three persons were then transported to the Broome County Jail for Arraignment.
