How Many Landmarks Can You Spot in These Binghamton Area Images

Lately, I've been on a nostalgia kick. I just wrote an article about a website that lists songs that were number one on the U.S. singles charts during each of our birthdays, bringing back memories of the songs we rocked to during our special day.

And sometimes, my co-workers like to trip me up with Southern Tier trivia. I am terrible at trivia, even though I may know the answer. It seems my brain freezes up and I can't get out the correct answer, although I know what it is.

This week, one of my co-workers decided to take a trip to the Binghamton Library and take some shots of some Triple Cities photos from the past. He wanted to see if I could recognize the locations of these pictures.

Well, I did okay, but some really had me stumped. Some of the pictures had a description, but it was covered up until I could correctly reveal the location. I'm no Triple Cities area historian, so I couldn't make out all the landmarks that show up in these pictures, but maybe you can.

It's pretty cool to take a look at what the Triple Cities used to look like and especially for me to see what the area looked like before I came to call the Triple Cities my home over the past 40 plus years. Take a look at the pictures and see what all you can point out that is no longer here.
