10/20/14: Please note that this is about the 2013 Holiday Train. The schedule for the 2014 Holiday Train visit will be released late October and as soon as we find out when the train will arrive in Binghamton we will let you know.

On Tuesday night, the Canadian Pacific Holiday train will roll into Binghamton's East Rail Yard on Conklin Avenue at 8:30pm.

You're invited to visit the train and bring non-perishable food items or a cash donation for CHOW.  The rail cars will be decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights and holiday designs. A stage door will be lowered and music will be performed by Canadian Country Hall of Fame honoree Tracey Brown and The Claytones. The 30 minute show will include a mix of traditional and modern holiday themed songs.

Dr. Joseph Sellepack, executive director of the Broome County Council of Churches says: "The Holiday Train visit provides the public an opportunity to kick off the holiday season with an exciting musical and visual event and allows people to support their hungry neighbors at the same time.  Broome County children will be on extended holiday break in December and will lose access to the nutrition programs normally available at their school. This event will help CHOW fill some of that void."
