Shoppers so far have experienced pre-Thanksgiving sales, Black Friday savings, shopping local and small with Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and now, the Hawk has some ideas for the country music fan on your list.

Asking country fans at center court of the Oakdale Mall over the weekend, what new music they are looking for under the Christmas tree, I received a nice variety of answers, with the new Garth Brooks box set (available only at Target) coming out on top.  Garth's new 'Gunslinger' album that includes his new single and a hot Hawk request, 'Baby Let's Lay Down and Dance' came in a close second place with new music from Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Jason Aldean and Eric Church also on country fan's hit lists.

If new Christmas music is on your wish list, according to Taste of Country, "there are no fewer than 7 new country Christmas albums" available for this Christmas.  For the complete list click HERE.  There are a number of great new holiday themed songs that have also been released this month, including 5 you should hear from artists like Kacey Musgraves, Jodee Messina and country legend, Loretta Lynn.  Click HERE to hear these new songs for the holidays/

Now would be a good time to pick up Taste of Country Music Festival tickets before the price goes up December 8th.  The Taste of Country Music Festival is 3 days of country music's biggest stars in concert at the Hunter Mountain Resort, about 2 1/2 hours from Binghamton.  With Jason Aldean and Sam Hunt headlining, the price is still low before more concerts are added to the lineup in early December.  Not only that, camping packages are the first to sell out, so you might want to scoop up the tickets before the price increases.  Find out all about the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival HERE.
