Why is it that as we get older, we seem to reminisce about the past more often? Well, at least I do. You know, "Remember the good old days?" That saying isn't necessarily true. There are some things from my life that  I'd rather forget from the "good old days."

But there are many things we remember that was good. And during one of our breaks here at work, a few co-workers and I were talking about how the history of the Oakdale Mall, and how it is changing and re-inventing itself, now under the new name, 'Oakdale Commons.'

It will be exciting to see what new businesses and ventures will take up residence in the coming years. Change has already begun with new businesses landing in the Oakdale Commons over the past couple of years.

But back to the "good old days" when the Oakdale Mall was full and had some great stores we remember. We came up with many stores that we shopped or dined at, that are no longer there. But I feel there are more we have forgotten. What stores do you remember that we may have missed?
