That's why we are so fortunate to have something like the  Foodbank of the Southern Tier to help our neighbors in need. They are a support network of food pantries and meal sights in Broome, Chemung, Skyler, Stuben, Tioga, and Thompkins County. To find a list of places closest to you, go here and click on Find Food.

Maybe you are doing fine but you want to help those that need your help. The Foodbank of the Southern Tier is looking for volunteers during this crisis. They are looking for individuals who can commit to multiple volunteer shifts to help reduce the total number of visitors that come into the Food Bank.

Go here to see the different areas and times that they need help with right now, including the Mobile Food Pantry at the Endwell United Methodist Church on February 1st.

See their New Volunteer Safety Guidelines before you register and keep in mind that you will have to watch their virtual training video before your shift. This is another way to make a difference for others that will make a difference in your life too.
