Flea Market & Mother's Day (Makeup Date) at the Binghamton Zoo

Last Sunday was a very rainy day so you didn't end up taking mom to the Binghamton Zoo and you were feeling bad because it's been a family tradition for year. Maybe you were so busy, that you didn't have a chance to take that special lady in your life to the zoo.

I have great news for you. Because of the weather last Sunday, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is giving you another chance to treat mom with a trip to the zoo. Here's another way to thank her for every thing she does, as all moms will get FREE admission on their Mother's Day Makeup Date this Sunday, May 19th.

Make it a full weekend at the zoo and stop by this Saturday for their Flea Market and Book Sale. It's free to attend and it's open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lower parking lot.

Tara loves to read, so we make it a point to make it to the Book Sale and the deals can't be beat. It's in the Education Center and all hardcover books are only $1 and paperbacks will be 50 cents. Starting at noon until 2 p.m., all books will be half priced or fill a bag for $2 (that's what we usually do.) Besides books, many other "yard sale" will items will be available.

All proceeds benefit the Binghamton Zoo. America's 5th oldest zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road and the admissions booth is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day with the zoo closing at 5 p.m.
