
Fire Destroys Home in Town of Windsor
Broome County Fire Investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze early July 7 in eastern Broome County that destroyed a home.
Authorities say firefighters from five departments were called to a home on Ostrander Road in the Town of Windsor at around quarter after 12 in the morning and spent over three hours on the scene.
There were no injuries.
Reports indicate the home in the Windsor Fire District may have been vacant.
Firefighters from Windsor, West Windsor, Harpursville, Deposit and Five Mile Point were called out to the incident along with Eastern Broome Ambulance and fire investigators.
Companies were able to return to their stations at around 3:30 a.m.
