Cider Mill to Open with Some Changes in Place

The Cider Mill in Endicott is about to launch operations for what may be one of the most unusual seasons in its 94-year history.

Managers of the iconic business have been busy in recent weeks making adjustments to prepare for this year's opening during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cider Mill is scheduled to open for the season on Saturday. Visitors will enter the Nanticoke Avenue building through a single door and follow signs that outline distancing requirements.

Extra safety precautions will be in place, including a requirement that customers wear masks or face coverings.

There will be no field trips or tours of the Cider Mill this season because of coronavirus health concerns.

The Cider Mill operates for four months each year. The business traditionally closes on December 1.
