There is a lot going on with the Binghamton Zoo and 98.1 the Hawk is glad to be a part of it. Beginning next month, Binghamton Zoo School is in session. It's an awesome opportunity for kids 4-18 to have fun and have an interactive experience at the zoo. Find out more here.

There is a few things happening this weekend too:

This Saturday, May 20th it's the 4th Annual Run WILD at the Vestal Coal House. Runners and walkers will both start at 11 am. It's a USATF certified 5K NY14087J on the Vestal Rail Trail. The Binghamton Zoo will have two ZooMobiles and an educational display there. Find out more and register here.

Then on Sunday, May 21st, it's “Endangered Species Day”  from 10 am – 4 pm. It's a chance is for people of all ages to learn about the importance of saving endangered species and things that we can do every day to help protect them.

There will be education stations set up around the zoo to interact and learn about wildlife and conservation. Stop by the Ross Park Amphitheater for a free ZooMobile presentation with the Binghamton Zoo's Education Department from 1 – 2 pm.
