Drafts With Giraffes Returns to Animal Adventure Park This Weekend

One of the Southern Tier's most unique summer events is returning this weekend. Drafts With Giraffes is this Saturday, June 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville. The event is expected to be the park's biggest party of the summer.

Enjoy Drinks While Exploring the Park

You will be able to sample a wide variety of craft beverages while walking through the park. Dozens of tasting stations will be set up throughout the grounds, with craft beer, cider, and seltzers.

Many of the featured drinks will come from New York State breweries and cider makers. The entire park will remain open during the event, letting guests enjoy animal exhibits while trying different drinks.

More Than Just Tastings

There will be plenty to do besides sampling drinks. Music will be provided by Kevin Ludwig, and several local restaurants, food trucks, and vendors will be on hand serving food throughout the night. Organizers say the combination of animals, entertainment, food, and drinks has helped make the event a favorite for many visitors.

Ticket Information

Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, access to all beverage tastings, and full admission to Animal Adventure Park during the event. Both drinker and non-drinker tickets are available, but all tickets must be purchased in advance.

Important Age Requirement

Drafts With Giraffes is strictly for adults ages 21 and older. Park officials say even designated drivers must be at least 21 years old to attend, and no exceptions will be made.
