Animal Adventure Park Reopens This Saturday
How do we know that winter may finally be behind us? For some it's when the Animal Adventure Park & Preserve reopens for the season. Well, you are in luck because they are welcoming visitors back for a brand-new season starting this Saturday, April 25th.
What You Can Expect This Year
This popular destination, a short drive from Binghamton, is getting ready for its 14th year. And it sounds like this season is going to be filled with things to see and do. The team has been busy getting everything ready for guests.

When they open, you’ll see some changes right away. There will be different animals and new features to make your visit better. One of the most talked-about additions is seeing the lemurs up close in a unique setting. One of the biggest highlights this year is the arrival of four lion cubs. Their names are Beau, Romeo, Venus, and Valentine, and they’ll be with their mom, Bisa.
Two Ways to Explore
This location gives you two different experiences in one trip. You can walk through the main park or take a drive through the safari area to see animals from your vehicle. Between the two, there are over 100 kinds of animals calling the park home.
Plan Your Visit
Both areas will be open every day from 10 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. Just keep in mind that the last entry times are a little earlier in the day. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a day trip, or just looking for something different to do, they are ready to welcome you back for another season. By the way, there are also plans for a low ropes course opening in June. NICE!
