The Binghamton Devils are one of the hottest teams in the American Hockey League. They split with the Charlotte Checkers last weekend and they look to keep it going this weekend at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

Friday, February 28th is Power to the Purple/DIFD Night to benefit the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST). You are encouraged to wear purple to the game. Everyone that wears purple to the game will get a ticket to win several raffle prizes including signed player sticks and previous year's DIFD team jerseys.

In fact on Wednesday, February 26th, there will be a joint press conference with Broome County Executive Jason Garnar, MHAST, and the Binghamton Devils. They will announce that Friday, February 28th will be declared DIFD Power to the Purple Day in support of youth mental wellness and suicide prevention.

Here's an added bonus for Friday's game: Go here and you can get $12 discount tickets with $2 of every ticket going to the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier when the Hartford Wolf Pack comes to town.

Face-off is at 7:05 p.m. and I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period and you could win $100 and four tickets to a future Binghamton Devils game.
