NOAA says wind chills as low as 20 below zero are possible.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Forecasters say ambient air temperatures plunging into the teens and even single digits could be combined with Northwest winds at be 5 to 10 mph with a few gusts up to 15 mph possible, especially across the hilltops.

Residents are advised to use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Bring pets and animals inside to protect them from the very cold conditions.
