Cuomo on Sexual Harassment Allegations: "It's Just Not True"

Governor Andrew Cuomo has denied he sexually harassed a former aide who made the assertion via social media.

Lindsey Boylan on Sunday morning tweeted that Cuomo "sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched."

Cuomo was asked about the allegations during a briefing with reporters on Monday afternoon. He said "it's just not true."

The governor said he believes a "woman has the right to come forward and express her opinion and express issues and concerns she has." But he denied sexually harassing Boylan, who had worked as deputy secretary for economic development and as a special advisor to Cuomo.

In her tweet, Boylan wrote: "I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years."

Boylan also tweeted that she did not intend to answer questions from journalists about here allegations. She is running for Manhattan borough president.
