Cortland Inmate Accused of Sexual Contact With Minor

A Cortland man is accused of having sexual contact several times with a juvenile with whom he is acquainted.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 41-year-old Anthony Wood is charged with felony counts of predatory sexual assault of a child and criminal sexual act as well as misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say they arrested Wood after receiving a report June 4^th alleging the man, who is currently incarcerated at the Cortland County Jail on separate charges, had inappropriate contact with a child on several occasions.

Wood was charged with the new counts June 11.
