Conor McGregor Announces Retirement… Again

Conor McGregor just tweeted that is retiring from MMA at the ripe young age of 30. According to TMZ Sports, Conor McGregor took to Twitter and posted:

"Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as 'Mixed Martial Art' today. I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!"

According to TMZ Sports, UFC boss Dana White told ESPN that he thinks McGregor means it this time. White told ESPN that McGregor's whiskey company is doing well and he has enough money to retire so he thinks he is done.

Even though when Conor McGregor was on "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" this past Monday, he told Jimmy he was in active negotiations to fight in the UFC in July.

It's not the first time Conor McGregor has tweeted that he is retiring. He did the same thing back in 2016 only to step back into the octagon a couple of months later when he beat Nate Diaz.

So does he really mean it this time? I guess time will tell.
