Comedians Converge on Downtown Binghamton
Funny business will be on display April 1st and they’ll be plenty of laughter for everyone as local and national comedians will converge in Binghamton for the 2nd annual Comedy Crawl.
Last year members of the local comedy scene got together to organize a night in downtown Binghamton with a series of performances at area clubs featuring comedians from around the area and some bigger names.
This year they have added national comedian and host of the Emmy Award winning show ‘Cash Cab’ Ben Bailey who will headline this years Binghamton Comedy Crawl.
Bill Lake who is our production and creative services director for our 5 radio station group here in Binghamton is one of the founders of Comedy Crawl, and one of the local comedians who will perform on April 1st here in Binghamton.
Bill has written jokes for David Letterman and Craig Ferguson, and has since turned to standup comedy a few years ago performing around the New York region.
I had a chance to talk with Bill and one of the other co-founders Giordi DeAngelo about the history of the Binghamton Comedy Crawl and this years event.
