This definitely falls into the category of things that make you scrunch up your face and scratch your head.

If you're not really feeling the Christmas spirit this year- maybe you're a bit blue, well- there's a new way to turn your frown upside down and swallow your tears. Literally swallow your tears.

Bompas & Parr, the people behind “breathable alcohol,” are hosting a workshop in London to teach people how to make cocktail bitters out of their tears.

At the workshop, the room will be filled with candles and a soundtrack to bring on the crying. If the candles and classical music don't work, the people at Bompas & Parr will use strong-smelling menthol to get the tears rolling. What if that doesn't work? Participants can expect to have the skin around their eyes massaged to bring on a tear or two.

“We often work from a historical point of view," a Bompas & Parr spokesperson told Mashable. "There are stories from the American Civil War where women were said to have cried into bottles and saved them for when their husbands come home. It has a sort of magic about it, saving these emotions.”

We have a much less odd way for you to enjoy a drink and that's with our Binghamton on Tap Craft Beer Festival which hit the Doubletree by Hilton on January 15-16, 2016.
