New York State Trooper Glen Woods of Endicott passed away on March 24th at the age of 45, leaving behind wife Kelly and kids Brenna and Joshua.

Glen proudly served as an Endwell Trooper with the New York State Police for 15 years and was in Albany for training when he passed away of natural causes. This was ruled an off duty death and Glen's wife Kelly is now without insurance, regular income, retirement and so forth.

A clam bake to benefit Glen's family will be held on Sunday, August 23rd from 12pm-5pm at Mountain Top Clam Bakes at 539 Hance Road in Binghamton.

There will be raffles, 50-50’s, music, horse shoes and more. This is an all ages event . Advance tickets are $50 per adult and $25 for kids 5-11 years-old. Kids under 5 are free. The menu will include Manhattan clam chowder, hard shelled clams (raw and steamed), large shrimp, grilled rib eye steak sandwiches, roast pork and beef BBQ, hot and sweet sausage with peppers and onions, grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, potatoes, sweet corn and more.
