This afternoon, enjoy some local baseball and softball and help the American Cancer Society.  Here's what's going on.

The CV Varsity baseball and softball teams will be hosting Oneonta today. The  boys will play at CV High School and the girls play at BAGSAI complex, both games start at 4:30.

Both teams will be selling $1 cards to write a loved ones name on a Wall of Hope at the games plus they'll be sending a helmet around the games for donations. Boys will be selling baseball food like hotdogs, hamburger and drinks for $1. The girls are limited because of the concession stand there but will be selling Starbucks cake pops and candy for $1.

All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.  Girls wearing pink tees and boys wearing blue for prostate cancer. So come out, watch the game and help raise money for cancer. This is the first of many years for this wonderful cause.  They hope to grow the event and with your help they will.  Good Luck to CV (especially since I live there) and Oneonta too.  There are no losers with this event.
