Congratulations to the Chenango Forks High School Girl's Soccer Team as they were honored by MaxPreps Tour of Champions and the Army National Guard. The Blue Devils went 23-0 for the season and capped it off with a NYSPHSAA Class B Girls Soccer State Championship with a 2-1 win over top ranked Westhill.

They outscored the opposition 108-4 and had a record 19 shutout wins during the season. They finished the season ranked #16 nationally.

In the beginning of the season they had training shirts designed and the logo was “The Harder the battle, the Sweeter the victory! - 11/13/16” The date represented the goal to make it to the LAST POSSIBLE DAY in soccer and to win the championship.

New York Army National Guard Sergeant Kyle Krause presented the team with the Army National Guard national ranking trophy on Thursday night (1/12) during halftime of the girls basketball game. They were recognized at the Binghamton Senators game on Saturday night too. The team also received a banner for their accomplishment.

MaxPreps ranks over 16,000 girls varsity soccer teams each fall. Congratulations girls!
