The snow is still on the ground and we are happy when temperatures get above freezing. But before you know it, the white stuff will be gone and we'll be complaining about how are cold because it's only 60 degrees out.

Summer will be here soon enough and that's why the Jewish Community Center (JCC) is thinking about Camperships for 2022 Camp JCC now. What is Campership?

Camp JCC Camperships

For six weeks, kids between the age of 5 and 15 will have fun with sports, science experiments, field trips, nature exploration, themed parties, and more at Camp JCC. Camperships give children a special and unique opportunity to attend the camp.

The older campers have overnight and team-building activities. Many of the kids that get a Campership will eventually become counselors at Camp JCC. Campership recipients are selected based on character and leadership in the community and at camp.

Normally, there are two or three Camperships awarded in a year but last year, five kids benefited from Camperships. You can support Camperships at JCC by making a donation...or by participating in a Family Trivia event at JCC on Sunday, February 27th.

Family Trivia Event For JCC Camp

Get your friends, family members, or coworkers together to have fun and help send kids to camp. It's only $5 per person and you can have up to 8 team members and participants should be ages 8 and up.

It'll go from1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 27th and prizes will be awarded with the real winners being the kids that'll have a chance to go to JCC camp because of the Campership program.

Team Pre-Registration is required, so call (607) 724-2417 or JCCOffice@binghamtonjcc.org. JCC serves our community regardless of age, race, religion, and sexual orientation. They are located at 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal and is a not-for-profit organization.
