Broome Worker-to-Job Transportation Issues Discussed
A panel discussion is planned to talk about physically getting people to work in Broome County.
The mobility management program of the Rural Health Network of South Central New York, known as Getthere and The Agency, Broome County's development agency, are holding the session March 7 to talk about transportation access to employment.
The panel discussion will feature the director of Getthere, the deputy director of The Agency, the BC Transit commissioner, the director of technical assistance programs for the Community Transportation Association of America and a representative of 511NY Rideshare. The event takes place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. March 7 in the Thomas Libous Community Room at FIVE South College Drive at the SUNY Broome Community College Campus.
