The organization that has been operated by Broome County Police agencies and volunteers since 1962 says it will be headquartered at the former Bon Ton store at the Oakdale Mall starting November 25.

The local organization is not affiliated with the group organized by the Marine Corps Reserve that distributes toys to families in the region and nationally.

Residents can start signing up for the Broome County Toys for Tots program December 2. Enrollment will end December 14.

Starting November 25, the headquarters will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Donations can be dropped off during those hours at the headquarters or any time at barrels that will be located at the Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City and Vestal Police Departments and the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
