
Massive Drug Bust in Broome County Nets Two Arrests, 10 Felony Charges
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force (SIU), alongside the Broome County Sheriff’s Strategic Response Group (SRG), executed a search warrant at a home on Hickory Street in the Town of Triangle. The raid led to the discovery of a significant stash of illegal narcotics, paraphernalia, and cash.
What Authorities Found Inside the Home
During the search, authorities recovered approximately 15 ounces of methamphetamine, 13.1 grams of fentanyl, 12 alprazolam pills (a Schedule 4 controlled substance), $40,817 in U.S. currency, and various scales and packaging materials. According to law enforcement, the estimated street value of the seized drugs is around $7,000.

Two Suspects Arrested at the Scene
Inside the home were two individuals: 22-year-old Kalysa M. Drury of Binghamton and 62-year-old Randy J. Glezen of Triangle. Both were taken into custody and now face serious charges stemming from the investigation.
Drury and Glezen Facing Multiple Felony Charges
- Drury and Glezen are each charged with a total of ten criminal offenses, including:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree (Class A-II Felony)
- Two Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree (Class B Felonies)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree (Class C Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree (Class D Felony)
- Three Counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (Class A Misdemeanors)
Both Remain in Custody Following Arraignment
Drury and Glezen were arraigned at Central Arraignment Part and are currently being held at the Broome County Correctional Facility as they await further court proceedings.
Multi-Agency Cooperation Key to Success
The successful operation was a collaborative effort. The SIU received support not only from the Broome County SRG but also from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Sheriff Fred Akshar praised the teamwork, stating,
“Let this be another reminder to purveyors of this poison in our community: We will find you and we will hold you accountable.”
