FREE Outdoor Entertainment While Helping CHOW
Spring is here Southern Tier and that means that summer will be here before you know it. There is so many things to look forward to in our neck of the woods including "Broome Bands Together" Concert Series at Otsiningo Park.
This is a wonderful way to enjoy a Tuesday night in the great outdoors while listening to some of the best bands in the area. The best part is that it's free and you can help out an organization that really needs our help this year....CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse).
CHOW began in 1976 to help those with food insecurity in the Broome County area. They support over 100 emergency food programs and they provide food free of any cost. Food pantries from all over the country need help as the demand for food is as high as it's been in years...maybe decades.
So you can help those in need in our area by bringing non-perishable food items with you to Otsiningo Park this summer. When you attend, don't forget to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to this alcohol and tobacco-free family friendly event.

You can bring food with you to eat but if you forget, it could actually be a good thing. You can buy a snack or a hot dog at the park. I usually buy something at the concession stand to support our local economy...It has nothing to do with the fact that I really like to eat food.
Here's a great chance to hear some of your favorite bands and an opportunity to see a group that you may not of heard of before. This free admission event on Tuesday nights goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
