Check this out - there are three different race distances for you to choose from. Whether you're a terrific triathlete, a biking buff, or a running rockstar, there's a challenge made for you.
Registration is only $75 for the Triathlon, Duathlon, or Aqua Bike. Just remember, all participants have to be members of USA Triathlon, but if you aren't, you can easily sign up for a one-day membership. You can also round up your friends and register for a relay to conquer the course together.
So head over to RunSignUp.com by June 24th to secure your spot in the race of your choice. Here's the link: Broome County Parks Triathlon Registration. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Broome County Parks Handicap Children’s Playground Fund which focuses on creating accessible playgrounds in parks.
Here are the distances for each race?
Triathlon: A 1/2-mile swim, followed by a 12-mile bike ride, and ending with a 3.1-mile run.
Aqua Bike: Dive into a 1/2-mile swim and conquer a 12-mile bike course.
Duathlon: Lace'em up for a 1.5-mile run, hop on your bike for 12 miles, and finish with a 3.1-mile run.
