Brooklyn Man Sentence for Attempted Murder in Binghamton
The Brooklyn man who admitted seriously injuring a Binghamton man during a shooting on Easter Sunday of 2018 will spend ten years in prison.

24-year-old Travon Sanders pleaded guilty in December to attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting in front of the Yellow Deli on Susquehanna Street. He was sentenced May 14.
41-year-old Grady Hunter was sitting in a car parked in front of the business April 1 of last year when he was shot several times.
The Binghamton man was critically injured in the incident.
Prosecutors said Sanders had specifically targeted Hunter, shooting him with an illegally possessed 9 mm handgun.
