A Broome County woman faces charges after a vehicle she was driving struck a mailbox and a flowerbox in the town of Masonville.

Authorities say 31-year-old Angel Feringa of Binghamton was arrested after the crash on Wednesday morning. It happened on Route 206 near the intersection with County Highway 20.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle went off the roadway and eventually came to rest on the lawn of a home.

Investigators determined Feringa's driving privileges had been suspended in 2014 "for a drug related offense."

Feringa was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator. She also was issued summonses for unsafe lane change and driving with an unsafe tire.

Feringa was ordered to appear in Masonville town court at a future date.
