There's tough and exciting competition on the ice tonight (November 3) as Binghamton University Ice Hockey Club will face off against SUNY Broome in the 2016-2017 President's Cup Ice Hockey Game, 7 p.m. a the SUNY Broome Ice Center.  Admission is free thanks to the school presidents picking up the tab this year.

Binghamton University and SUNY Broome have been rivals since the mid 1970's so tonight's game is expected to be a great one.

Binghamton University President, Harvey Stenger is quoted as saying, "I'm a true fan of hockey and excited to watch these two teams go head to head for the third year in a row, the rivalry is real, and I would encourage everyone to stop by and join us for the game."

The winner of the game will take home the President's Cup trophy, which has been held by Binghamton University for the past two seasons.  SUNY Broome President Kevin Drumm adds, " on the ice we are friendly rivals and we look forward to another exciting game.

The first 150 people through the door will receive a free President's Cup T-shirt.  If you're on the Binghamton University campus, you can catch a shuttle bus from the Binghamton University Union at 6:15 p.m.
