Unfortunately the Binghamton Mets season came to a quick end in the playoffs when they lost Friday night.  So now we look ahead to the Binghamton Senators and the newly renovated Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

They'll start by having an Open House this Saturday from 12-3 at the Arena. You can see the 2.5 million dollar renovation. You can get guided tours around the concourse, Arena Club and skyboxes, even locker room tours.

All the seats held by season ticket holders will be marked.  That way you can see what seats are available. Now if you are a current plan holder for the upcoming season, you can show up an hour early (11am.)  That way you can change your seat location if you want.

During the Open House you can sample some of the new menu items and enjoy FREE popcorn. Max will be there for pictures and autographs and for the kids, the inflatable Slap Shot den will be set up.

Besides the new seating, some of the renovations include a LED lighting system and 2 new Zamboni machines. When I was there, I noticed the new stairwell. I know that made Tara happy, she likes to dance when leaving the game. I think you'll be impressed with the new look Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena both inside and out.

The regular season is less then a month away.  Their 41st season begins Hawktober 5th at home at 7:05 against the Syracuse Crunch.  Before you know it, Tara and I will be doing Chuck-a-Puck and the Sens will begin another push to the playoffs and the Calder Cup.

To see the schedule and other B-Sen activities go here. LET'S GO SENS.
